Anyone believe Takuya Kimura is in reality only 163cm tall? Says the Japanese media supposedly. That's like how Tom Cruise is actually only about 168cm or so.

Sato Sensei, I grew up reading manga, as most of my peers in Taiwan have. My favorite ones are Hunter x Hunter, ワンピース, Flame of Recca, and Death Note (first act/story). I heard they made a movie about Death Note and it's pretty good, but I've yet to see it.

Soon enough I'll be able to read them in their original language!

hi all,

this is my first blog for my intro japanese class. i am taking japanese because i love japan and would like to visit it some time. i love japanese food, manga, and more.

anyway, i'll write more when i actually have my hiragana memorized.
